HITS Panel to Look at Link Between Content, Technology

It’s a content everywhere world, and getting that content everywhere isn’t easy.

When Hollywood’s IT crowd gathers May 25 for the “Holly-wired: Where IT and Entertainment Meet” event in Los Angeles, presented by the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA), attendees will have a top-tier panel of studio executives going over the challenges of delivering content today.

The panel — “Fulfilling Insatiable Consumer Demand for Content: The Technology Catalyst” — will look at how studios are bridging content owners with consumers using the broad integration of technology, building data and analytics capabilities, and centering operational strategy around new digital products and infrastructure.

The technology experts will cover the workflows throughout content creation and discuss how investments are being made in developing content, harnessing new technologies, and expanding internationally. How Hollywood studios are transforming production, distribution and the viewer experience by adding data to all of their assets will also be the docket.
