MESA Europe Hosts Industry Panel Sept. 23 at Languages & the Media Event

On Sept. 23rd at 2 p.m. CET, the leaders of MESA Europe will host an industry panel at the Languages & the Media event, the 13th annual international conference and exhibition around language transfer in audiovisual media.

MESA Europe’s Caroline Baines, director of client services, and David Millar, business development director will host the discussion with content owners and language service providers (LSPs) to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the localization industry as the industry slowly emerges from the pandemic.

Attendees can expect to hear about a number of key topics, including the impact of mergers and acquisition across the industry, the advancement of technology solutions, the all-important pool of talent, the need for diversity within localisation, and how the sector is gearing up for the end of the year and into 2022.

“We are really looking forward to collaborating once again with Languages & the Media,” Baines said. “It’s a great opportunity to engage directly with people from across the spectrum of the localisation industry and really get to the heart of the key issues shaping the future of this sector, which is so important to the global enjoyment of entertainment content.”

Speakers on the panel include Vanessa Lecomte with BBC Studios, Giulia Parker with ITV, Björn Lifvergren with LinQ Media and Carlo DeCianti with Plint.
