EIDR to Talk Localization at Feb. 28 London Event

MESA’s annual Content Workflow Management Forum has re-branded to the Innovation and Transformation Summit (ITS): Localisation, and EIDR is among those sponsoring the premiere event for language service providers in media and entertainment.

ITS: Localisation — MESA’s first event of 2023 — will gather the London community 28 February to discuss key trends, challenges, and the future for the localization industry. Hear from subject matter experts, academics, content creators, and their service provider partners as we delve into a wide array of topics; including the perspectives of the consumer, training and talent retention, ethics and developments in voice technologies, the views from the content creators and how the industry can look to achieve greater workflow efficiencies.

EIDR director Hollie Choi will take the stage to discuss EIDR’s role in the localization ecosystem, including the central role the organization plays in the Cloud Localisation Blueprint endeavor. Choi will be joined by Yonah Levenson, founder and co-chair of the Language Metadata Table, as they discuss their efforts in providing unified standards for the industry, and highlight the critical role data plays in the localization process

The event will be held at the Royal Garden Hotel, 2-24 Kensington High Street, London W8 4PT, as well as online in the MESAVerse, MESA’s virtual work environment for its members and communities.
