Zendesk Details Customer Engagement Trends at May 12 HITS Spring

On May 12 at the annual Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event, Joe Jorczak, enterprise account executive and industry lead for Zendesk, will broach a crucial pandemic topic: just how engaged are you with your consumers?

Today’s crowded digital media landscape has consumers increasingly expecting consistent experiences across all channels, and if you’re one of their favorite brands, you better be engaging with them on whatever channel they prefer. And for 2021, one of the key consumer experience trends companies are adopting to engage with users and relying on for their digital transformation strategy is messaging.

Jorczak’s presentation — “Engaging Your Consumers & Users in a Crowded Communication Landscape” — will examine how messaging of all flavors can make it easy to stay in touch, using convenient and engaging interactions.

“The presentation will give a synopsis of the drastic changes we have seen over the last year in terms of digital adoption and expectations from customers in how they expect to engage with brands,” Jorczak said. “It will provide a view specifically in the changes we’re witnessing in the media & entertainment space, giving viewers a glimpse into what the competition is doing and the tools/channels & the approach they should adopt in order to stay ahead of the curve. Specifically, we will cover a key trend we are witnessing from our CX Trends 2021 research, Messaging, mainly regarding WhatsApp, FB Messenger and how organizations can leverage these to set their brands apart & provide consistent experiences for consumers.”

He said he hopes attendees walk away with a new understanding of the competitive landscape and of the new tools and channels being used in the industry, “as well as a few simple steps they can take to stay at the forefront of digital transformation & customer engagement.”
