Iyuno-SDI Becomes Iyuno

Localisation services provider Iyuno-SDI Group is now Iyuno alone, debuting a new logo and an updated website, and returning to its original roots, when it was founded in 2002 by CEO David Lee.

“I’m extremely proud of all the companies that have come together to build the industry leader we are today,” Lee said. “Under the Iyuno name, our purpose is clear — to re-invest in the industry at a time of rapid growth. We are building greater capacity around the globe, applying advanced technologies, and raising the state-of-the-art to better serve the entertainment community.”

The logo mark for the company will now appear in all lowercase letters using the brand’s signature colour as the dot above the letter “i”. The logo and name will be used across the company’s entire global footprint of 67 offices in 34 countries.

The company’s facility expansion and technological advances are equally accompanied by an increased focus on developing the creative talent pool; creating opportunities for diversity, equity, and inclusion; and exposing our industry to the next generation workforce.

It was in spring 2021 that Iyuno Media Group completed its acquisition of SDI Media, bringing together two of the industry’s top localisation companies, with the shared mission of supporting its customers in their efforts to reach global audiences. The combined company, then operating under the Iyuno-SDI Group brand, had provided localisation and entertainment technology solutions to the media industry for more than a collective 70 years.

Today Iyuno offers end-to-end localisation services — from dubbing, subtitling and access services to media management, transformation and distribution services — in more than 100 languages for every type of content distribution platform.
