5th Kind DAM Deploys on Microsoft Azure with Akamai Integration

5th Kind has announced plans to make 5th Kind’s CORE available on the Microsoft Azure with Akamai CDN integration. 5th Kind’s Digital Asset Management solution provides highly secure organization, collaboration, distribution and archive for production studios, media and content creators, agencies and enterprise seeking to manage any type of digital file.

5th Kind’s CORE application integration with the Azure platform will expand access for media and content creators to a proven digital asset management solution, allowing them to streamline their workflows, reduce infrastructure costs and achieve ROI for assets that have been previously inaccessible. 5th Kind’s Akamai integration offers additional value with secure caching of digital media files for cloud-based streaming.

5th Kind CEO and Founder Steve Cronan commented, “We are excited about the opportunities an integrated 5th Kind solution on Microsoft Azure will provide.
