Sony CISO, Ingram Micro SVP to Keynote SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit

An already exciting agenda at the Nov. 4 SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit promises to be even more enlightening with the addition of two afternoon keynote presentations.

First up at noon is “Women in Technology Leadership” with Jana Vondran, SVP of global business services for Ingram Micro. A leadership path starts from within and isn’t bound by economics or borders. The inner strength required starts with pure determination and is further fueled by life experiences and teamwork. Starting as an immigrant to America thru building a successful career in technology, and now one of the top leaders within a $50 billion company, in this keynote presentation attendees will learn how this executive’s journey has shaped her career.

Then, before the winners of the WiTH Leadership Award are announced, the closing keynote of the day — “From Silicon Valley to Sony Pictures – My Adventures in Executive Leadership” — will be presented by Virginia Lyons, CISO of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The “fireside” chat explores Lyons’ Keynote’s career journey and discusses how a theater major with a law degree ended up in the field developing some of the first ecommerce platforms and later moving into cybersecurity. Attendees will learn how to guide their own paths through personal triumphs and tribulations as they hear career advice on learning about new opportunities or deciding their “non-negotiables.”

Theresa Miller, CIO of Lionsgate, and VP and treasurer of the WiTH Foundation, will conduct the interview.

The SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit is presented by Ateliere with sponsorship by Amazon Studios, Softtek, Fortinet, Prime Video, SHI, Amazon Web Services, PacketFabric and Presidio.
