Fabric, MESA Continue the Cloud Localization Blueprint

Fabric has announced that it has engaged MESA to continue the industry-oriented work on the Cloud Localization Blueprint (CLB) from last year’s IBC Accelerator program.

The Cloud Localization Blueprint is a first-of-its-kind project that brings together predominant supply chain software companies to create a definitive blueprint for distributing entertainment content globally. From licensing to localization and final delivery, hear what these industry leaders believe are the key considerations for building a best practice cloud-based media supply chain for content localization.

MESA’s Content Localisation Council, led by Caroline Baines, and its broader localization community that includes academic and other out-of-category participants, will begin driving the evolution and participants within the project.

Fabric will continue to support the backend functionality of the website which will now include their Authenticated Data Standard accelerator that will be featured at this year’s IBC.

“Fabric and their CLB accelerator brought together an amazing group of companies to collaborate on better data integrity, visibility, and accountability across the entire localization supply chain,” said MESA CEO Guy Finley. “We’re honored to be continuing the work and broadening participants to move from ‘accelerator’ to expected. The vision is clear, and we have a demonstrable path for companies in our industry to adopt.”

Fabric CEO Rob Delf added: “The intention of the CLB was always meant to be an inclusive set of standards and processes rather than a solution supported only by a specific set of vendors. I’m excited to have MESA continue to drive the expansion going forward in order to fulfill the ultimate goal for the CLB.”

MESA will unveil the roadmap for the next phase of CLB at their ITS: Automation event being held at the W Hotel from 4-6 p.m. on Sept. 15 in Amsterdam during IBC.
